In parallel to our mission, we serve people with all our knowledge and skills, so that they can live a long and healthy life. As Diamond Sponsor of the comprehensive nationwide health tests program, Egis Pharmaceuticals is devotedly engaged in the improvement of the Hungarian healthcare. Furthermore, thanks to the company’s commitment, hundreds of residents as well as the employees of the municipality of the 10th district (or Kőbánya) are offered free health tests within the ‘Egis Health and Prevention Days’.

The Semmelweis University and Egis Pharmaceuticals PLC have agreed on an even closer cooperation than before. Our common goal is to further raise the standards of pharmaceutical R+D as well as pharmacist and doctor training by making use of the synergies in each other’s activities. As a result of the agreement, new health industrial innovations can be launched and the Semmelweis University can be extended with more practical educational and training elements that also meet the needs of the Hungarian pharmaceutical industry.

Based on a comprehensive survey, we learnt that our employees would like to do more to protect the environment and they would truly appreciate it if our company offered some support with regards to that too. In the spirit of environmental consciousness, we organized a few programs throughout April – for example, an electric car driving session.
