On the Night of Museums, our programme was quite a popular one: we had more than 120 visitors on this special night. The places were snapped up so quickly that after a few days, we had to close the registration.

On the Night of Museums, our programme was quite a popular one: we had more than 120 visitors on this special night. The places were snapped up so quickly that after a few days, we had to close the registration.

We welcomed our guests in three shifts at the Night of Museums (June 22, 2024). As the event series aims to highlight a current theme during its programs each year, in 2024, the main topic was „goal pass” inspired by the UEFA European Championship. During the visits, our colleagues at the Egis Scientific and Technological Center not only presented our company’s history and current activities but also drew parallels between football and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Visitors also gained insights into key pharmaceutical processes, focusing on generic drug development. At the end of the enjoyable visits, our team answered questions from the audience, covering topics such as the well-known Hungarian writer, Örkény István (a former employee), Balla Sándor (the founder of the company in 1913), the successful product from the Körmend factory in the past (Roll ice cream), and the drug development process.
