Egis announces further investments at its Körmend site
Over the next few years, Egis Pharmaceuticals PLC will invest EUR 21.1 million to increase its capacity at its Körmend site. To finance these developments, Egis will use its own capital and a government subsidy of EUR 3.4 million – announced Csaba Poroszlai, CEO of Egis. Csaba Poroszlai elected vice president of MAGYOSZ

Mr. Csaba Poroszlai, CEO of Egis and dr Tamás Rónay CEO of Sanofi-Aventis and Chinoin were elected vice presidents of the Hungarian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Association (MAGYOSZ) at the Association’s annual general meeting. The executive director of Meditop Kft., dr Dávid Greskovits, will hold the position of president for another three years. Mr. Csaba Poroszlai has also become the member of the presidential board.

Egis sponsored the 40th Hungarian Press Photo Contest

The Hungarian Press Photo Contest, the most prestigious national competition for photographers and news photographers in Hungary was held for the 40th times. Once again, Egis sponsored the Nature and science category of the contest. Many of the submitted photos are on display in the Hungarian National Museum in Budapest, however, the exhibition will later travel to other locations in the country as well.
