Egis follows the applicable pharmaceutical self-regulatory codes and consequently Egis must document and disclose on its website all engagements and transfers which it provides, either directly or indirectly, to or with a view to a healthcare professional, healthcare organisation or a patient organisation. ETHICS AND COMPLIANCE

Ethical, transparent and fair business practices are essential for long-term sustainable success. This is particularly true in the healthcare industry.

Egis is committed to complying with ethical standards and industry codes of conduct. In addition to its own Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct, Egis adheres strictly to the provisions of the current Code of Ethics for Pharmaceutical Communications, which aims to ensure the highest level of protection of patients’ interests, and to ensure that the most stringent rules are in place for the pharmaceutical actors themselves.

ETHICAL REPORTING

As part of the Egis Compliance Programme and in accordance with the provisions of Act XXV of 2023 on Complaints, Notifications of Public Interest and the Rules for Whistleblowing, Egis has established a local Ethics Line.

Through the Ethics Line, current and former employees of Egis, applicants involved in the selection process and business partners, as well as persons exercising ownership or supervisory rights over Egis, are entitled to report any case in which they have reasonable grounds to believe that a violation of applicable law or of the Code of Ethics or Code of Conduct has occurred.

Reporting:

All reports will be treated confidentially and will be investigated in accordance with the provisions of Act XXV of 2023.

Reports can be submitted through the following channels:

Written reporting channel: Via the Whispli platform operated by Servier (in Hungarian or English)

Oral reporting channel: Oral reporting can be made in person at a pre-arranged time. If you would like to make an appointment for an oral report, please contact us by email (etikaibejelentes@egis.hu).
