START DATE: 2021-01-01

Within the confines of this project - in collaboration with the Research Centre for Natural Sciences - Egis develops and launches advanced generic oncology drugs suitable for targeted therapies to make cutting-edge treatments available for the widest possible range of patients.

Expected results

By the end of the four-year project, a pharmaceutical is expected to be on the market as well as two products ready for authorisation, fourteen new active ingredients or formulation technologies will be created.

These drug developments will significantly strengthen Egis' international competitiveness and its market position. In addition to the primary goal of product and technology developments, intellectual property (scientific publications, conference presentations, know-how, patent applications) is expected to be created as well, which will be of value to both the national and international scientific community. A further expected outcome of the project will be the expansion of Egis' cooperation with external partners (research institutes, small companies).
